I love being able to help people. When I was looking into careers, I looked into medicine and dentistry, but dentistry had more of a personal relationship with my patients and more creativity rather than just medical knowledge. So I was able to shadow my dentists that I had as a child, and I really liked it. And so as I got more and more into it, it just clicked for me. Patients come in either in pain, concerned about a smile, just having a basic problem. And as we can solve it, you just see the patient's relief come into their face. They walk out smiling. And I get more reward from their smile or their gratitude that we were able to help them than anything else that we can do. So it's just helping patients so they feel comfortable and confident in their smile.
